After getting our 3D printer, Forge Creator Pro, back up and running after an unheated extruder causing the filament not to build, I created a small design on Tinkercad.com, (free! phenomenal resource!) and sent it to the printer. Once it started to heat up, I was called away to do other things - forgetting about the piece. When I came back.. (more than a minute later..), I discovered this..
It was clogging the extruder hard as could be. I heated up the extruder to melt it off, but noticed it had melted up along the sides. After compounding the problem by jamming filament in the extruder line, I disassembled the extruder, cleaned out the line, reheated the unit and got it working again.
