Oh, for goodness' sake! This will be the third time I've typed this post that I brought the Dromida Ominous drone home for the weekend to learn how to fly it so we could show it off this week, but after it scaring the willies out of me because of the quickness of the drone and the highly sensitive joystick operation of the controller, I crashed so many times that the last time I dislodged the left front blade motor casing. When I readjusted it and tested the drone, the blade would not longer turn. I troubleshot it by swapping motors from one of the other blades and have ordered a new motor, ($15.) and a set of screws, (.89) because the blades whipped up a frenzy on my kitchen table when I hit the throttle - whoosh!
I've discovered that our battery lasts 12 minutes. I've learned that the drone can travel about the length of 2 football fields and I I've learned I'm going to have practice someplace with a softer landing.
