Back story.. When we decided what we wanted in our Makerspace, Ann chose Idea Paint/Dry Erase paint for our table tops. Since we completed the process, hey have been a constant source of joy, inspiration and imagination. However, we had chose to "borrow" the beastly science tables from a nearby classroom planning to have replacements sent in from Central Office...
We've lost our lovely dry erase top tables, (see previous blogs)! These have been a hit - inspiring our teachers to write grants to create something like them in their classrooms. Sadly, we've found out after the fact that the District no longer makes the old beastly science tables and what arrived as replacements for our procured ones were narrow lab tables - unsuitable for our Science classrooms. After searching high and low; calling in all favors, we have failed to locate replacements. All is not lost yet, but my hope is waning. There are grants to be written. We do have another allotment coming in a couple months, but right now it's a little less sparkly in our Makerspace.
